Owning a plant can be a bit of work. However, the greenery can really add to your home’s décor. If you are the busy type who doesn’t have time to care for a plant, here are three tips for those plant owners who are never home.

 

Dry plants: if you cannot commit to watering a plant on a daily basis, buy one that doesn’t need much water. Anything from a subtropical terrain will do just fine and last days without much care.

Low light plants: plants come in all shapes and sizes. If you have dimly lit apartment just purchase a plant that thrives in low light situations. A quick Google search will net you an entire list of options.

Dust: if you are going to leave a plant alone, be sure to dust it every once in a while. Dust particles can stop a plant from absorbing sunlight.
