The first location is Deer Canyon Park, this park located in the Anaheim Hills sits one hundred and three acres of land and is prime hiking destination. This hill side area definitely stands out from the rest of Orange County, with beautiful vegetation, twisty dirt roads, large trees and an array of flowers. This is the perfect spot for an after school hike with the kids or an outing with your dog. Enjoy the scenery as you hike to the top of the hillside and catch a view of Orange County.

Yorba Regional Park Trail Head, located in Yorba Regional Park, is absolutely a popular family destination for hiking trails near Anaheim. This park is one of the most gorgeous parks in Anaheim. You can enjoy a hike leading along the Santa Ana River Trail or just hike around the one hundred and thirty-one acres of land. The summer hours are from 7am to 9pm and fall hours are 7am to 6pm.

Labor Day weekend doesn’t just last the weekend at Old World Village. On Sept. 5th every Wednesday – Sunday through October 31st at the Old World Village get ready to celebrate Oktoberfest. This year will be the 34th annual event which includes German bands, lots of dancing, and delicious food from bratwurst to strudels. It’s going to be an event you don’t want to miss out on! You will get to experience the one-of-a kind Dachshund and wiener dog races, car shows, and so, so, so, much more! This event offers family-fun days  Wednesday – Thursday which means FREE ADMISSION; Sundays will be $5.00 and children under the age will be free. Don’t think it doesn’t get any better though because it does, adult only nights are Friday & Saturday with a $15 admission fee.
